Mendoza and Wine

DAY BY DAY:

Day 1:Mendoza

Arrival in Mendoza and transfer to the hotel. Free day to relax.

Day 2:Mendoza

Breakfast. Then you will visit the city, sharing the culture and history of its foundation by the Spanish colonizers four centuries ago. It includes a visit to the Independence Plaza, the main avenues and the Civic Centre, The Founding area, The Aquarium (as optional), the General Martin Park and the Hill of Glory, a popular spot for a panoramic view.

Day 3:Mendoza

After breakfast, you will enjoy a full-day wine tour. We begin with a visit to two wineries, their vineyards, and tour their winemaking rooms, and cellars where the aging of the wine happens in oak barrels and later on, when the wine is bottled and corked, they are stored in those same cellars that have the ideal conditions (darkness, humidity and consistent temperature) in order to acquire their final qualities while enhancing the aromas and flavors that wine lovers can appreciate.

Our guide will share his knowledge about the world of wine, providing detailed information about the properties of the soil, characteristic varietals of the region, care of the grapevines and conduction techniques, irrigation systems, defoliation of the vines, and pruning and grape harvest for maximum quality of the grapes.
In the wine tasting rooms, you will be provided with detailed advice and indications for proper tasting.
At midday it will be time to travel to the third winery and the vineyards that surround it.
After finishing this visit, a gourmet lunch is organized that includes a range of wine lines in order to have the chance to put into practice all the newly acquired knowledge about tasting.
In the afternoon, after lunch, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences and then we will return to the hotel to end a memorable day.

Day 4:Mendoza

Breakfast and transfer to the airport and return flight home or to your next destination.
